Marleen Rios, a first generation American, was inspired by her parents to study and earn a college degree. Born and raised in Southern California, Marleen graduated college with an A.A. in Humanities, a B.A. in Psychology, and an added appreciation of art, music, nature, and archaeology. Her path has led her to following her heart to new adventures in travel and learning.

Marleen’s appreciation of travel began with connecting to her Mexican culture and roots and a graduation trip to Oahu, Hawaii. Experiencing the beauty of the Hawaii Islands and its culture lured her in, opening her eyes and heart. Marleen found her niche by further exploring and experiencing the country and beaches in her own backyard expanding to wine, culinary and cultural festivals.
Marleen’s deep appreciation for history and culture along with her zest of life and adventure makes her the perfect advisor to create and curate incredible experiences for her clients.
With a desire to meet like-minded people, explore and discover new cultures and make new friends, she ventured on her first solo/guided tour through the UK and Ireland where she was inspired exploring the historic buildings and streets infused with centuries of stories and people and experience places she only read about in books and had seen in movies. Solo travel taught her important things about herself and built her self-confidence. Now, she embraces and loves solo travel and is excited to share her experiences, lessons, advice and travel tips with others.
Planning the perfect experiences for others, so they can have their own fun adventures or calm getaways alone or with small groups of friends is Marleen’s passion.
